It is never easy to say goodbye to friends! And even through we leave in a world where we can get in touch with friends with just a simple click of a button...we usually tend to take it for granted and lose touch with people. Our life style is so "busy" that if you don't need something from a 'friend" or if your work does not require you to communicate with your friends, you often will not have "time" for your "friends" that is far away. Sometimes you might have the courtesy to sms him/her on their birthday/new year or Christmas but that is about it.
So although I had many well wishes from many of my colleagues, I will not expect most of them to make an effort to stay in touch with me....unless they need something from me. Likewise I know they will probably expect the same from me.
Nonetheless I will still miss most of them and remember most of them fondly.
Goodbye my ex-colleagues!
I am sure we will chat again when the circumstances calls for it...
